The Yield Marketplace is Sundial’s user-facing product. A BTC holder picks who will pay them and on what terms. Everything underneath, including which rail holds the BTC, is decided by the provider and operated by Sundial.
The marketplace is on public testnet as part of the Sundial dashboard.

Three parties

  1. Depositors choose a provider’s program. They see terms: expected yield, lock period, how yield is distributed.
  2. Yield Providers list programs. A provider that needs an on-chain structure chooses a rail, Dawn or Solstice. A provider that already has its own on-chain presence can list directly.
  3. Sundial operates the rails, the Bitcoin scripts and the indexing that tracks every position.
This split means a new rail or a new provider is a new listing. Your experience as a depositor doesn’t change when the plumbing does.

What a depositor sees

  • Connect a Bitcoin wallet through Reown AppKit.
  • Pick a provider and a program.
  • Deposit, then track the position and its yield in the portfolio view.
No command line is needed. The Stake with Dawn guide walks through it.

How listings are modelled

The catalogue is a data model, not a static list:
  • A provider owns one or more programs.
  • A program is what a depositor picks. It carries the expected yield, the minimum lock period and the distribution type.
  • A deposit binds your position to a program and to its Bitcoin transactions.
  • A distribution records yield paid back, with its own on-chain binding.
Each of these has an explicit status, so the marketplace shows the state of a position from what is observed on Bitcoin.
  • Alchemy is sold alongside the marketplace and will also be available through it.
  • For Yield Providers explains how a provider chooses a rail and what a listing needs.
